I love Xizhou's art. I'm far from being an art critic, so I don't have the right words to put to it. But from the first time I saw her art at a market stall at Atwood fest I fell in love. There is an expression and a movement captured in her use of color form and flow. I loved her jewelry and small prints immediately. And then the first time I got to see her gallery and see some of her larger works as well as her work side by side My respect and admiration for her art grew. If you get a chance to see her art whether it's a market stall or a gallery event I would highly recommend it. It's worth it!
Xizhou is an extremely talented artist. Contemporary to beautiful flowers. Her art will add beauty to any space. Xizhou also has a studio so you can create your own masterpiece.
The one of a kind art piece we have in our dining room is always a joy to look at. When I look at it I see a bird singing a beautiful song, my husband sees the same bird but in a landscape and our daughter sees a planet in outer space. We love that we all see what brings us true joy and I couldn't love this piece more!
I have been to multiple local art fairs when Xizhou Xie has been in attendance at and each time I'm drawn to her work more so than any other artist. Her powerful use of color really speaks to me and my preferred aesthetic environment. I have purchased several prints and my all-time favorite tote bag from her and they bring joy to me every time I see them.
I love Xizhou Xie's work! I have 3 wall prints (By the Fireplace) and earrings. I think the pieces look like yoga poses and that's why I was drawn to them. I can't wait for my next piece of jewelry! I’m so happy I found Xizhou and her amazing art shortly before the pandemic started. I have multiple paintings around my home and office, as well as coasters and magnets and they have all brought so much depth and color into the spaces. Xizhou’s art is incredibly high quality but still accessible. She’s also an all around wonderful person to interact with. I would definitely recommend a visit to her gallery so you can bring home (or gift) some of her unique paintings.
I found Xizhou’s work on Instagram and wow, we are so lucky to have such a talented artist here in Madison! Each piece is so special and unique. I went to Madison Makers Market recently and bought some of her ornaments and magnets. The magnets were supposed to be gifts, but I’m definitely keeping them for myself! I look forward to buying a larger piece of art once I can narrow down my choices. 🙂
Xizhou runs a awesome gallery out of her home and is available for private appointments as well as her Open Gallery events a couple times a year. It is a great way to see her new painting in person! I highly recommend a visit.Oh and the gallery cats are cute too!!
I first came across this artist on a Facebook virtual art fair, and I remember looking at pictures of her pieces and being immediately immersed. I love seeing movement and color when I look at abstract art, and these pieces were spot on.
